Madison Parks invites you to be part of the city’s largest volunteer-driven park cleanup in celebration of Earth Day 2025! Taking place on Saturday, April 26, this is your chance to give back, protect the environment, and enjoy the great outdoors.
For nearly 30 years, the Earth Day Challenge has brought together volunteers dedicated to keeping Madison’s parks clean and beautiful. Participants will assist with trash collection, light raking, weeding, and stick removal to help maintain these cherished green spaces. To make participation easy, Madison Parks provides gloves and trash bags at all designated locations, with additional tools such as rakes and trash pickers available at select sites.

🌱 How to Get Involved
1️⃣ Choose a Park
Browse the list of participating parks and pick one that needs volunteers. Whether it’s a local community park or a larger green space, your help is invaluable!
2️⃣ Register in Advance
All ages are welcome! However, volunteers aged 14 and older must register in advance on our new volunteer platform. Secure your spot today! ✅
3️⃣ Show Up & Clean Up
Arrive at your selected park between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM on April 26. Look for the Earth Day Challenge sign to check in and collect your supplies. 🌿🧤
